The Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Jessie Phua as the Chef de Mission of the Singapore Contingent to the 17th Asian Games Incheon 2014.
Jessie has been an Executive Committee member of the SNOC since 2004, and was a member of the Supervisory Panel of the Feedback Unit in the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) from 2005 to 2006.
She also served on the National Olympic Committee (NOC) Services Advisory Committee and the Sports Advisory Committee of the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (SYOGOC), and the Olympic Pathway Programme (OPP) Identification Sub-committee.
Adding to her accolades, in 2010 she was awarded the IOC Women and Sport Achievement Diploma, recognizing her efforts and contribution to empower and strengthen women and girls participation in the sports world.
